The permanent exhibition is designed to set the mind thinking about the nature of how we define art and science. Three separate spaces attempt to address the 'conceptual barriers erected between the artistic and scientific communities', including The Expression Room, in which a large, multi-panelled cinema runs a short video montage of inventions by famous art-science straddlers like Dutch sculptor/scientist Theo Jansen and US author/aviation pioneer Amelia Earhart.
