The challenge for artists working with traditional Chinese ink today is in offering new possibilities and new interpretations to demonstrate a contemporary vocabulary. This exhibition is about "new art" inspired by "old art" and the courage to seek new perspectives and endless possibilities in Chinese ink painting. How far can they push this ink medium used since 4000 BC? This collaborative painting project invites various ink painters to compose and respond to one another. It captures the essence of the communication through the beauty of Chinese ink painting.
