To provide a greater variety of food and beverages along the waterfront promenade, interested food truck operators can park and operate at the following two spaces:

Next to event square Opposite the promontory

Refer to the food truck location map (PDF) for the available spaces along the waterfront promenade.


To park and operate a food truck along the waterfront promenade, operators must submit an application to URA to obtain a permit – Non-Renewable Temporary Occupation License (NRTOL) – for such activities to be held on a short-term temporary basis. All food truck operators must abide by the NRTOL Terms & Conditions (PDF).

The following fees apply for food truck operations:

Non-Renewable Temporary Occupation License (NRTOL)  • $267.50 per month (unlimited no. of days)
• $53.50 per day
 *Refundable security deposit  $3,000
 Processing fees      $200.00

*If the event organiser fails to reinstate the event space or fulfil its obligations under the NRTOL, URA reserves the right to carry out the required reinstatement works or impose a penalty, drawing from the security deposit. The full amount will be refunded if no reinstatement cost or penalties are imposed.

All applications will be evaluated on a “first-come-first-served” basis.

URA reserves the right to approve or reject any application for the use of space for food trucks without providing any reason.
